"Stoney" is a 10 year old dark bay thoroughbred mare who has been inspected and approved into the Main Mare book for Oldenburg GOV and has produced two chrome-covered, leggy and correct foals from two very different stallions. This mare is a delight to have around the barn and ties, clips, trailers, stands for farrier and vet and is easily palpated without sedation. The highlight of this mare has to be her ground-covering, sweeping, daisy-cutter trot just born for the hunter ring. She is very tidy and tight-kneed over fences when free-jumped as well. Stoney has been only a broodmare for me while I've owned her and despite retiring with a bump on her knee from the racetrack she is very sound and is very happy being barefoot. 
This mare is by an Unbridled stallion and out of a Private Terms mare--a pedigree that SCREAMS athlete and in particular very good movers and jumpers. 
Stoney would make an ideal addition to someone looking for a good moving mare to cross on heavier warmbloods. Priced at $3500 to the perfect home until she is re-bred in the spring.
