"Ramey" as we call him has been breaking hearts ever since he popped out of his momma. "OH I WANT HIM!" is usually what people say upon meeting this gorgeous hunk. He is a STUNNING, flashy blood bay colt with all the chrome you could ever hope for. Born May 15th 2019 he has been a wonderful colt to have around the farm and has been handled regularly since birth. Ramey is by Checkmate (Check In x Rio Zeus x Zeus) and out of Oldenburg-approved mare Stone of Scone (pedigree here).
This is the baby I've been hoping to produce my entire life. Gorgeous, sweet, beautifully marked, a stunning mover and near perfect conformation. But, he's a boy so I must let him go excel at winning everything with a loving owner. Ramey was bred with the big A show hunters in mind, but the reality is that his movement is good enough to go in any direction. The canter is one that never loses rhythm and the trot is ground-covering and sweeping. Quite simply he takes my breath away and has the same effect on anybody who sees him.
